How can a believer recognize the evidence of spiritual life?
From Matthew 5:3–6, Elder David Bradley considers Christ’s description of God’s people: poor in spirit, mourning over sin, and hungering and thirsting after righteousness. These are not conditions by which sinners earn life, but marks of God’s gracious work within His children—reasons to rest, rejoice, and trust the Lord to satisfy the hunger He has given.
