Church in Panama City, FL Damaged by Hurricane

Report from Elder Asa Moseley:

Brethren.

As you may know he situation in Panama City is dire. Elder Tom Corley spent today with Elder J.C. Stanaland ministering to the residents in the area and church members of St. Andrews PBC. He reported being an “emotional wreck” after being there all day. He reports that the area looks like a 20 year war zone. They do not expect to have power back for at least a month.

Elder Corley brought supplies like water and gas to the area today. Elder Stanaland ran out of gas visiting the church members and was unable to get more. Please pray for the residents and our brethren in the devastated area. If your congregations want to help, resources can be sent to Palm Chapel PBC Church at 308 Powell Drive, Crestview FL 32536. Make checks payable to Palm Chapel PBC, on memo line put Saint Andrew Relief (the church in Panama City has no way of cashing checks or using debit/ credit cards).

Elder Corley is in a good location to access supplies and to distribute them to those in need. In addition to basic supplies like food and water some of the older members may need a place to stay until the power is restored. Let me know if you need Tom’s contact info. He is the pastor of Palm Chapel Primitive Baptist Church in Crest View, FL.

God bless,

Bro. Asa III
